Privacy Policy
Privet is run by TAVREX LTD, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ (company number 17067623), the controller of your data. Contact: getprivetapp@outlook.com.
What we collect
- Learning progress and settings (lessons done, words, streak, goal): stored on your device and in your iCloud.
- Account, only if you choose to save progress: your email address or Sign in with Apple ID, an account ID and your learning progress. Stored for us by Supabase on servers in the EU. Delete it any time in Settings → Delete account.
- Your voice: the microphone is used only to check your pronunciation. Speech is recognised by Apple, on your device where supported. We do not receive or store recordings.
- Subscription status, through Apple. We never see your card or Apple ID details.
- Crash reports reach us only through Apple, and only if you allow sharing with developers.
- Reminders are scheduled on your device; we collect no push token.
- Emails you send us for support, kept up to 24 months.
Why
To provide the app, your account and subscription (contract); to send reminders you turn on (consent); to keep accounting records for 6 years (legal obligation). Transfers outside the UK use UK-approved safeguards.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, track you across other apps or sites, use advertising identifiers or third-party analytics. Privet is not directed at children under 13.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent: getprivetapp@outlook.com. We reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint). We will tell you in the app about important changes to this policy.
